Description and Mission Statement
The Active Worlds Events Organisation, or AWEO, was created on
the 23rd of August, 2005, by Active Worlds citizen Rossyfox o (citizen
number: 329993). AWEO was created to fill the need for a high-quality
calendar of events for Active Worlds, although the mission statement
was intentionally left vague enough so that the organisation may one
day continue on to other projects.
The purpose of the Active Worlds Events Organisation is to encourage the production and raise awareness of events within the Active Worlds community, and to promote the importance of events to the community.
Although
establishing a viable events calendar is our top priority and we do not
have any other objectives for the forseeable future, we may eventually
expand into other areas if we see the need.
AWEO is not affiliated with Active Worlds Incorporated. "Active Worlds" is a trademark of Active Worlds Incorporated.
AWEO Calendar of Active Worlds Events
The Active Worlds Events Organisaton believes that Active Worlds users require a calendar of events which is sufficiently detailed, frequently updated, easy to read, presented in a professional manner and free from bias on the part of the person compiling it. The AWEO calendar of events was created to meet these standards.

As the AWEO calendar is updated when events are discovered or
submitted, rather than at the start of each month, there is no deadline
for submitting events. To submit an event, simply email all relevant
details to us at aweo@r.rave5.com.
Remember to include world name, coordinates (if applicable), date, time
(if applicable), and a short description of your event. Adult only
events must be clearly identified as such.
